4- Why Do You Want This Job?
You should have a great answer about why do you want this job? For answering this question, first of all, identify the key points that make this role or position a perfect fit for you.

5- Why Should We Hire You?
This question is perfect for telling them about your skills and selling yourself there. Cover these three things:
You can not only work hard but provide them with great results.
You can easily fit into their team and culture, which makes you a better fit for other candidates.
Give them an example of you did similarly and succeed.

6- What Can You Bring to the Company?
When the interviewer asks you this question they don’t want to know about your background. They want to see whether you can face the problems and challenges or not. Do proper research about the company, read the job description clearly, and connect your skills and experience to company needs.

7- What Are Your Greatest Strengths?
Here you should talk about something that makes you a great and perfect fit. When you are answering this question always think about quality, not quantity.

9- What Is Your Greatest Professional Achievement?

Here just be honest with the difficulty you faced and what you learned from it.

11- Tell Me About a Time You Demonstrated Leadership Skills.
Think about the time that you took the initiative to lead a project and how you helped your colleagues and motivated them to get something done.

12- What’s a Time You Disagreed With a Decision That Was Made at Work?
Here make a short statement and reframe the rest of the answer. Talk briefly about what you learned from that experience that will help you in the position you are interviewing for.

13- Tell Me About a Time You Made a Mistake.
The only key to answering this question is, to be honest without blaming others, explain to them what you learn from this mistake, and what action you took to not make the mistake again.

This question is the same as a mistake but makes sure to tell them about your actual failure and start by making them clear how you define failure.

15- Why Are You Leaving Your Current Job?

High grades of schools or percentage of college are an essential factor in some cases such as, to get your CV shortlisted. High grades or percentage matters when you opt for analytical skills or financial skills.

 

A high grade or percentage defines that you have dedication, hardworking, commitment to achieve your objective. High grades of schools/colleges may attract the recruiter’s attention to shortlist your CV, but it won’t make you stand out from the crowd, mind you!

 

In other words, Grades can be beneficial in some job searches, but only to a point. Interviewers may not use them further to evaluate you. Interviewers look for communication skills, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, creativity, analytical skills, and projects that you have completed that show your leadership skills and proficiency to work in a team.

 

Grades are necessary for most jobs that require a college degree, for skilled trades jobs, because many such jobs require problem-solving and analytical skills.

 

Not everyone has a good or high grade in school or college. It doesn’t mean that they are incapable of getting a good job. For any Job, interviewers seek candidates who have skills and experience in that particular field and can be fitted for the position ask by the company. If you have a high grade then it is good to mention it in your resume. But if you have low grades, you can disclose it in some cases where it is required.

What do you do when nobody is hiring but you need a job?

You need to give them valid reasons to hire you. That is only possible when you are good enough in proving your skills and abilities.

 

Frankly, when a company is not hiring, it’s tough to get a job. I have listed 5 step process which will help you to ease the target of getting a job.

Before you start learning the approach; I want to remind you that, you need enough patience and a-lots of efforts to get noticed by the company (the company you’re targeting). I hope you will take constant actions suggested right here.

 

  1. Be an expert.

Before anything, you supposed to be an expert in your niche. You require to have a better idea of your responsibilities and desired result of your job profile. Keep in mind that you are approaching when the company does not need you. If you know enough about your niche and your expertise then you can pitch well. You may get a chance to have an interview at least. Once you have got an opportunity for the interview, you will make sure to get in the company, I know!

 

  1. Research.

List the companies you are targeting to get a job in. Once you have made a list, you need to research everything about all the companies. You cannot afford to miss anything about the company or information related to the job role at least.

Keep a pen-paper with you. Write all the positive and negative points like:

“what problems they are facing?”

 “What they can do to compete in the market?” etc.

These points will help you to draft your pitch.

 

  1. Draft a mail.

You have got all the positive and negative points of a company you want to get a job in; now you need to focus on the negative points. Yes, negative points. I have a few reasons for it: 

You can turn those negative points into an opportunity to pitch your skills and expertise.

How you can help the company to resolve the problems they’re facing?

How you will help them to grow better?

These answers must be there in your mail.

Remember your mail must not have long paragraphs and boring strategies which are common already. You will have to be unique. Do not forget they are not hiring but, you need to give them multiple reasons to hear from you and give you one chance.

In such emails, you can neither include

“I need a job”

nor any other story of bad experiences in your past jobs.

Your mail must sound like an opportunity for them.

 

  1. Follow them socially. 

To show them that you exist; you need to like and comment on the post of their social media platforms. Do not forget that, it is not a one-time task. You must keep yourself showing up every day and whenever they are posting anything.

 

  1. Add some facts and figures.

You must include some files of your research about the particular company. For example, company analysis or a list of the strategies you plan to implement for the company’s growth. Help them to know, “How you will plan to resolve the problems they are facing right now?”

When you do this, it will give the best impression about you, your skills & expertise. The company would like to hear from you. They might give you one chance to interview.

Remember never copy-paste any data, do research put your thoughts and then share the mail to their human resource team.

Let us start with some organic points that are elements of a job Email.

  • -Clear subject
  • -Short and on point subject
  • -Greetings
  • -Introduction to your profile
  • -Specify skills and strong point.
  • -Add organic details like Last salary/ expected salary, year of experience, last company etc.
  • -Include a PDF file of your CV/ Resume.



Once you are up to write an email to a recruiter; you need to take care of a-lot-of things. These are some etiquettes which must be followed by all the job seekers out there. 

 

  1. Formal mail ID

 

So, I have seen various people using their random/informal mail IDs for all purposes. When it is about a job, you need to be serious, and you also need to use a formal mail ID necessarily. If you do not have a professional mail ID with you, do create a new email id. You strictly can not use your mail IDs like [email protected] or [email protected] but, a professional mail should look like [email protected] or [email protected] Your mail id adds some point in creating the first impression so do not lose this.

 

  1. Clear subject line

A subject line is the most important all the time; when you are writing an application in your school/ college or at your job. So, your subject line must not include more than eight words. The best subject line is, which has 4 to 6 words only. Your subject line should be telling that for which position/ designation you are applying for the same. Do never write a long story in your subject line. Remember, the subject line decides whether your mail will be open or not; so be straight and short.

 

  1. Do not leave attachments.

It happens the most! Seriously!!

I have found so, many emails wherein written “PFA” or “I have attached” but, there is no attachment. You can not afford this big mistake. If, you are mentioning there that PFA then makes sure you add that attachment. So, to save you with this I will suggest you add the document before writing about it. Also, rename your document/ PDF do not keep it rough. Adding on rename your attachment with your name, that will be helpful for the recruiter to remember about your CV/ Resume. 

 

  1. Body of your mail

Body, here you do not need to be boring at all. Do not think that you can write a long story about yourself.

Do not forget you are not the only one who has applied for the job and who will read the email has more tasks to do. Be brief but short, simple and easy. Necessarily include a few general information about you and your profession. Add a section which informs about your last salary, your latest company, total years of experience. Add all relevant details and keep it to the point only. Do not write anything extra and nothing else but you and your profession.

 

  1. Use proper formatting

Yes, do not make it typical but like a job application. Give it at least 2 to 3 rounds of proofreading. Do not use jargon/ quote or saying you can not fake anything. Your email must be in 1 font and must look professional. Do leverage spaces and do not write it like an essay.
